UR-GT01

I'm finally starting to gain some traction with this beast... the proportion is pretty much where I want it but I still have a lot of work to do on the surfacing. A lot of the work here has inspired some more interesting stuff, but I'm still sorting through that. More to come (hopefully soon).

  1. I think i'd echo here some of the advice i've heard with regard to mine- good proportion, focus on creating the dominant themes/lines, and then dial up the cool details after that. This looks cool, but i feel like there's too many competing horizontal lines along the side dividing the body into fairly equal sections.

    1. Thanks man, I agree. I need to spend some more time working on the side graphics for sure, probably doing more studies like you've done. As always, I wish there was more time...

  2. A agree with Breden here, but this is really starting to remind me of the brand- well done in that respect! Maybe you should implement some brushed metal surfaces into this guy- just an idea.

  3. I like the brushed metal idea. Kinda like how the peugeot onyx concept had the polished copper, you can apply different materials that are found in the watches to the cars surface

  4. I like Kinny's input on incorporating materials found in the watch... would make a case for interesting graphic breakup along with the surface treatment. Is the door still going to open in a crazy way like you were planning in the spring?
