Just Some Sketching...

Just some sketches...searching for aesthetics...trying to figure out how to make it light but aggressive, eco-friendly but not a smart car, daily driver but off-road capable...sigh...how do I make this new and innovative but still appeal to off-roaders and say I'm environment friendly? What have I gotten myself into?

  1. I think it could really be cool to play around with a more abstracted frame, sort of like a cool futuristic "exoskeleton" (maybe like what we see with the ariel atom but even crazier); what you have here already seems pretty grounded/down to earth, when you can really go nuts sketching

  2. Remember when Raphael was talking about the frame enclosing a "bag interior." So it's just an exoskeleton with an inner membrane containing the "guts" (interior). Thought about exploring that? I think that would be totally rad.

  3. I agree with the above comments... it would be cool to see something more skeletal/structural. I think you're asking yourself too many questions upfront and maybe boxing yourself in. Keep pushing it!

  4. i would throw out the pencil for a little while and do some gestures of what the skeleton could look like... you know, real quick 3-5 line forms. I think it'd help you out the most to not have an outer shell and focus of the structure of the thing first. once you've found something you like you can work on "fleshing out" the guts of it
